The hour markers and wide hands, which are made of simple shapes like triangles, circles, and rectangles, are filled with a luminescent substance that gives forth a persistent glow.

Matt, sand-blasted background contrasts sharply with raised polished numerals and graduations. A crucial element of the model’s unique visual character is its functional bezel, which enables the wearer to compute things like the sailing time between two buoys.
The Oysterflex Bracelet

A stylish substitute for metal bracelets is the Yacht-Master’s innovative Oysterflex bracelet, which was created and patented by Rolex. The flexible titanium and nickel alloy metal blade of the bracelet is fastened to both the watch case and the Oysterlock safety clasp. High-performance black elastomer, which is extremely durable, resistant to weather changes, and completely inert for watch wearers, is overmolded onto the blade. The Oysterflex bracelet features an 18 carat white gold Oysterlock safety clasp and a revolutionary longitudinal cushion system on the interior for added comfort. This system stabilizes the watch on the wrist. Additionally, it has the brand-designed and patented Rolex Glidelock extension system.
