The Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona is an yellow gold imitation watch with an intense black and champagne-colour dial and an Oysterflex bracelet. It features a black Cerachrom bezel with a tachymetric scale, measuring average speeds up to 400 miles per hour. The bracelet is made of two flexible curved metal blades overmoulded with high-performance black elastomer, and is equipped with cushions and an Oysterlock safety clasp. The bezel is corrosion resistant, virtually scratchproof, and unaffected by UV rays. It also features a legible tachymetric scale.

High-performance chronograph
Blending high technology with sleek aesthetics, the black bezel is reminiscent of the 1965 model that was equipped with a black Plexiglas bezel insert. The monobloc Cerachrom bezel in high-tech ceramic offers a number of advantages: it is virtually scratchproof, corrosion resistant, and the color is unaffected by UV rays. This extremely durable bezel also offers an exceptionally legible tachymetric scale, thanks to the deposition of a thin layer of platinum in the numerals and graduations via a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) process. The monobloc Cerachrom bezel is made in a single piece and holds the crystal.
Intense black and Champagne-colour dial
With chronograph counters
This model features a golden and bright black dial with snailed counters, imitation gold applique hour markers and hands with a Chromalight display, a highly-legible luminescent material.
The central sweep seconds hand allows an accurate reading of 1/8 second, while the two counters on the dial display the lapsed time in hours and minutes. Drivers can accurately map out their track times and tactics without fail.
The Oyster bracelet
Highly resistant and durable
The Oysterflex bracelet, invented by Rolex and patented, is a unique feature of the imitation gold Cosmograph Daytona with Cerachrom bezel. It consists of two flexible, curved metal blades, one in each bracelet section, overmolded with high-performance black elastomer. Cushions are placed on the inner sides of the Oysterflex bracelet for maximum comfort, and it has an Oysterlock safety clasp to prevent unintentional opening. The length of the bracelet can be adjusted using the clever Rolex Glidelock extension system.
