There are ten baguette-cut diamonds on this dial. The dial of the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40 is crafted from eisenkiesel, a rich brown ornamental stone that was introduced by the brand in 2021. Eisenkiesel is a quartz with subtle veining of iron oxide. A block of raw material is used to carve the stone discs that will be used in the dials.
